Livingston back on track

In this weeks West Lothian Courier, page 51, “Club toast their big 50th year” with a captains and presidents dinner “Iain Wilson, the clubs first captain, spoke of the early days of the club struggling to train and play at Bsnkton Mains”

Also in the paper “Livingston back on track with home win - great display from the home side at Almond Park” as Livingston 40, Broughton 24.

Also this week - a win for the ladies and a win for the U15 girls.

Livingston girls Under 15s played Lenzie at Almond Park in a friendly. First game for the girls and a fantastic win too. The girls showed great confidence and teamwork in both halves of the game. They worked hard together to create lots of chances, which resulted in a high scoring game. Livingston will play a return game against Lenzie soon.

The scorers for Livingston were Freya Lejkowski(1) Katie Wilson(1) Caitlin Handley(5) and Niamh MacAulay(3)and Eilidh Howard(2), Conversions scored by Eilidh(6) and Niamh(3). Final score Livingston 76 - Lenzie 27
