Livingston RFC v Perthshire RFC

Livingston secure their third straight national league division three victory with a 13-12 win over Perthshire.

They had to come back from a poor start to seal the win, though, as they fell 7-0 down thanks to a Daniel Rae converted try that came moments after livi 's Graham steel was yellow carded.

Kerr Anderson reduced the arrears to a single point with two penalties before eventually taking the lead for the first time just before the break.

Inside centre Jamie King latched onto a pass and dived over under the posts, with Anderson adding the extra two points to make it 13-7 at the half- time interval.

Perthshire started the second half on the front foot and were quickly awarded a penalty.

However, they chose to kick for touch instead of the three points - a decision that didn't pay off as they failed to score.

Livi controlled much of the game, but were hit on the break as Declan o'brien scored Perthshires second try.

Thankfully for livi, the conversion was missed and there was no further scoring as the almond park side held on for the win.

Livingston enter the winter break in seventh place, but they couldn't have asked for a tougher start to 2016 as their first clash is at home to unbeaten GHK on January the 9th at almond park.
