Livingston secure a well deserved win in first game of season
Saturday saw Livingston 2nds take on Glenrothes.
Livvy started strongly and scored first when Gary Hillhouse intercepted on halfway and raced in under the posts. Conversion by Dean Edwards.
The pack began to dominate and after great work by Simon Reynolds the ball was moved along the line and Gary scored again in the corner.
Great conversion by Dean from the touchline. Gary completed his hat trick again scoring out wide. Conversion again by Dean.
Glenrothes came more into the game in the second half and scored a converted try before Rambo scored with a great effort and again Dean
converted. Livvy lost there shape and composure for a while and suddenly Glens scored 3 quick tries. Pressure was now on the home team to hang on. Livvy went all out for the win and Collin Cantley scored after great work down the right by Ian Day. Coversion missed.
A great win for the 2nds and thanks to all who came down to cheer them on.
