With our pitch unplayable, Murrayfield agreed to move the match through to Edinburgh. On a sunny but cold day the game was played on the G4 pitch.

Murrayfield sat top of the league with 5 bonus point wins out of 5.

The game started at a good pace and we were quickly in control, taking the lead after 10 minutes through a Cameron McLeary try converted by Collin Cantley. This was quickly followed by another when Callum Gillespie scampered over for an unconverted try. A beautiful chip to the right wing by Cantley saw Dean Edwards collect and score with Cantley converting nicely. Marius then chipped in with the bonus point try again converted by Cantley. Gaps were appearing at regular intervals in the home defence and Edwards nipped in for his second try of the match. David Stone ran/sidestepped from half way to score wide out on the left.

The final score of the half went to McLeary again with his second try to bring the half time score to Murrafield 0 – 43 Livingston.

The second half continued along the same lines with Murrafield unable to cope with our running and handling skills. Aaron Johnston scored a nice try converted by Cantley – great to see Aza back after his operation, looked good mate. Edwards then scored under the posts and converted his own try. Ally Laird scored a nice try after slick handling down the left converted by Cantley. Another returning player, Jay Patience scored out wide on the right again after good hands by the backs, Edwards with the conversion. Gillespie then scored his second and 2 more tries were scored by Alasdair Williamson and Robin Phair. This brought the final score to Murrafield 0 – 86 Livingston.

It was a great result for us but difficult to work to the game plan for any length of time as huge gaps continually opened for us in the opposition defence. Still we worked hard and took our tries well.

We are trying to re-arrange a postponed game for next week.

Week after that we take ont Murrayfield again at home.
