The P5 team came up against a team that played a hard physical game with boys towering over our team. The game was tight until the the final minutes which saw Biggar pull 2 ahead for a 9-7 deserved victory at the end.
A second game against another of the Biggar teams ended in heavy defeat as fatigue and injury hit the team. Tackles were missed and the result was defeat. The team kept going and supported each other until the end which is high testament to their teamwork.
A lesson learned in the physicality of rugby which hopefully will inspire the team to push harder in their fitness training.
Player of the week goes to Scott Wilson for his tackling and running through much larger opposition. Well done Scott.
