On a very wet and windy day Currie visited Livingston in what would be our first cup game we'd been able to play after 2 postponed games. The pitch was playable although very muddy, and unfortunately Currie were only able to field 13 players so both team agreed to field 13, moving to 14 later in the game when a late arrival from Currie made it to the club.
It was definitely a day for forwards and it wasn't long before both teams looked the same due to the amount of mud on their strips. Livi opened the scoring which was converted superbly by Fraser , and from that good start Livingston went on to run out winners 63-15. The scorers on the day were Fraser (3), Alex A (2), Mark D (1), Jamie L (1), Stewart (1) and Alex (1). All conversions were nailed (8 for Fraser and 1 for Dan).
A great start to the cup campaign and just rewards for the Livi fans and parents standing in the mud and in the cold and rain to watch the game.
